You keep people standing. Healing, shields and the timing to spend them — the crew fights harder because you are behind them.
Root on the room. What you hold, stays held; what you shield, holds.
Anchors and fusion
Designed Fusions are the game's design. See the full list of fusions.
Motherboard-9 is built around Rootkit and Hardlight, both open from creation. Together they fuse into Substation.
A node that shields allies inside it and repairs your deployables.
You bring the room online, and the room was always yours.
Signature
Designed No archetype signature works in the build yet.
Root Privilege. Your turrets and zones carry your own strengths, and an ally standing in your zone makes your holds as strong as they get.
The turret is not a turret. It is you, with more hands.
Kit
Designed This kit is the game's design. Nothing here runs in the build.
Solder Arc
A sustained beam that never crits.
Sentry Fork
Plant turrets.
Patch Beam
Heal an ally. Releasing the beam leaves a shield behind.
Overshield Projector
A protective dome.
Recompile
The revive channel.
Helios Protocol
The default Surge in the design: sweeping beams.
In the build, every Legend fights with SALVO's kit.
Doctrine tree
Partly built The Wetware Grid saves your picks. Most nodes do nothing in a fight yet.
Taking one node of a fork closes the other. See how the trees are built.
| Technique | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ground Loop | Solder Arc jumps to a second target nearby at reduced strength. |
| Field Plant | Sentry Fork deploys much faster and boots pre-aimed. |
| Bedside Manner | Patch Beam keeps healing for a moment after you break line of sight. |
| Staff Card | Terminals and lockboxes in the field open faster and never raise an alarm. |
Turrets
More sentries, each weaker. They die easily and you do not care.
One sentry with far more health and a shield skirt that allies can stand in.
Shields
The overshield splits its protection across every ally inside when you release it.
The overshield collapses onto one ally at far greater strength and cleanses a status.
Grand fork
Your deployables stop expiring while any ally stands near them. It closes out Root on the Room.
Once per stratum, take a hostile ICE deployable or a door as your own for a short time.
Capstone. Named for the line's exemplar, a Workshop Block Legend. Your deployables carry your accent and your Grid, so every proc you own fires from them.
Nobody thanks the sysadmin until the room stops working.
You can save one of them properly or all of them badly.
The city's machines still think you work here. You have not corrected them.
