You fight up close and you like it there. Sustain through contact: you win by staying in the blender, not by leaving it.
The brawl is the discipline. Everything you touch becomes contact range.
Anchors and fusion
Designed Fusions are the game's design. See the full list of fusions.
Rondo is built around Heavy Lift and Quicksilver, both open from creation. Together they fuse into Hammerfall Rush.
A shoulder charge that hits harder the further you ran.
Every metre you cross is stored, and all of it arrives at once, in one shoulder.
Signature
Designed No archetype signature works in the build yet.
Cadence Lock. Once the beat is up, every power you own counts as in-discipline.
Once the beat lands, every power you own is a punch.
Kit
Designed This kit is the game's design. Nothing here runs in the build.
Tempo builds on hits and drains faster than Sync does.
Eight-Count
A combo that builds Tempo.
Haymaker Cadence
A heavy knockback hit. With enough Tempo it also throws a cone.
Skip Step
A lunge that also works against fliers.
Crescendo
Spend all your Tempo for a damage window.
Slip the Jab
A parry that turns into a counter.
BLACKICE Overload
The Surge. What it does is not written yet.
In the build, every Legend fights with SALVO's kit.
Doctrine tree
Partly built The Wetware Grid saves your picks. Most nodes do nothing in a fight yet.
Taking one node of a fork closes the other. See how the trees are built.
| Technique | What it does |
|---|---|
| Footwork | Eight-Count's loop can be re-entered from any hit, not only the first. |
| Weight Shift | Haymaker Cadence can be charged while sprinting without dropping Tempo. |
| Half Step | Skip Step's second charge recovers faster, and the step works off a ledge in the air. |
| Metronome | Tempo stops decaying for a moment after any landed hit. |
First fork
Crescendo's bonus reaches every ally nearby at half strength.
Crescendo turns surplus Tempo into armour penetration for the window.
Second fork
Haymaker's knockback becomes a pull, so everything you hit arrives where you are.
Haymaker's cone widens and staggers everything it displaces.
Grand fork
Tempo stops decaying while any enemy is in contact range.
A Crescendo cast at full Tempo ends with a few seconds of being untargetable.
Capstone. The Beat Itself. Your Tempo drives the music stem, and every fourth spender is free.
The fight is a dance floor and you are the beat. Momentum is the resource: hits build Tempo, spenders cash it, and standing still is the only real mistake.
Nobody in the Pit ever backed up. There was nowhere to back up to.
Birthright
Partly built The Forge screen saves your frame. Most set abilities do not run yet.
The sets Rondo can frame from creation, anchors first.
