You take the fight's options away. Stuns, slows, walls and terrain — a horde you have handled is a horde nobody has to out-damage.
The hold. The street stops where you decide it stops, and for exactly as long.
Anchors and fusion
Designed Fusions are the game's design. See the full list of fusions.
Fermata is built around Coldsnap and Kilnwork, both open from creation. Together they fuse into Thermal Shock.
Detonates the cold and the burn on one target together.
Two vault permissions arguing about a body's temperature.
Signature
Designed No archetype signature works in the build yet.
Caesura. End your own hold early and get part of the cooldown back.
The mark that says: break the line here. Not a pause — a decision.
Kit
Designed
No kit of its own yet. Its identity is its anchors, fusion, signature and doctrine.
In the build, every Legend fights with SALVO's kit.
Doctrine tree
Partly built The Wetware Grid saves your picks. Most nodes do nothing in a fight yet.
Taking one node of a fork closes the other. See how the trees are built.
| Technique | What it does |
|---|---|
| Downbeat | Your first hold on a target that has not been held this fight applies with no cast time. |
| Frost Line | Chill stacks spread to one adjacent target when the first stack lands. |
| Draught | Kiln Heat's zone can be moved once per cast without paying for it again. |
| Rest Bar | Every hold you own shows its remaining duration on the target plate. |
First fork
A target at maximum Chill is held rigid, takes nothing for a moment, then all of it at once. In a horde that has not agreed to wait, that moment is a risk.
Chill stops decaying while the target stands in any of your zones.
Second fork
Collapsing one of your own zones pulls everything inside it to the centre and holds it briefly.
Your zones gain an impassable rim: hostiles may leave and may not enter. It cuts your allies' lanes as readily as theirs.
Grand fork
One hold at a time can be sustained by channelling, past its duration. You stand still on one target, casting nothing else.
Caesura can be spent on every hold you own at once: they all end, and every target takes the shatter, including the one you were saving.
Capstone. Where It Stops. You can hold one target indefinitely with no channel. One, and the city will notice which.
You lift a hand. Somebody who has never met you understands the whole plan.
Birthright
Partly built The Forge screen saves your frame. Most set abilities do not run yet.
The sets Fermata can frame from creation, anchors first.
