bus.discharge
Arc Lantern
The grid never stopped paying out. You are just standing where it lands.
What it is
Partly built The set is catalogued and the Forge screen saves your frame. Its abilities do not run in a fight yet.
- Permission
- bus.discharge
- Role
- Blaster
- How you get it
- A quest, Operator 20
- Wetware Grid branch
- Bus Bars
A discharge permission from the Deepworks bus bars. Catena's neon runs on the same current, and a Lantern is a person the city's wiring mistakes for a load.
Passive
Standing Charge. Hold fire a moment and your next bolt pierces and hits much harder.
Abilities
Designed The three abilities are the game's design.
Lantern Bolt
A long-range bolt that travels, so it can miss a moving target.
A held breath of current, exhaled at somebody.
Cascade
A beam that chains between nearby enemies and never crits.
Current does not choose. It just finds the shortest way to everyone.
Fulgurite
Leave a piece of storm standing in the street, shocking anyone near it.
You leave a piece of the storm behind, standing in the street like it pays rent.
In the build, every Legend fights with SALVO's kit.
Weakness
There is no defensive verb anywhere in the set, and every cast lights you up in a dark city. You out-range trouble or you do not last.
Counterplay. Close the distance.
Fusions
Designed Fusions are the game's design.
| Fusion | With | Opens at |
|---|---|---|
| Storm Step | Quicksilver | Operator 20 |
| Stormfront | Skywrit | Operator 20 |
| Judgement Arc (apex) | Skywrit | Operator 40 |
You take the current's route instead of the street's.
You stop being a person up there and start being weather.
For three seconds the sky bills the block directly.
