You take the hit that would have ended somebody else. Threat, armour and position — you decide where the enemy is allowed to be.
Load-bearing. You are not winning the fight; you are the reason it has a shape.
Anchors and fusion
Designed Fusions are the game's design. See the full list of fusions.
Girder is built around Heavy Lift and Ironweave, both open from creation. Together they fuse into Breakwater.
A shielded advance that knocks over everyone you push through.
You are the part of the building that decided to fight back.
Signature
Designed No archetype signature works in the build yet.
Load Rating. The more enemies crowd you, the less damage you take. It fades once they leave.
A beam does not brace harder because you asked. It braces harder because there is more on it.
Kit
Designed
No kit of its own yet. Its identity is its anchors, fusion, signature and doctrine.
In the build, every Legend fights with SALVO's kit.
Doctrine tree
Partly built The Wetware Grid saves your picks. Most nodes do nothing in a fight yet.
Taking one node of a fork closes the other. See how the trees are built.
| Technique | What it does |
|---|---|
| Footing | Anchor Stance can be entered while moving, keeping half its reduction until you stop. |
| Shoulder | Breakwater's advance no longer slows on the first two bodies it passes through. |
| Tally | Your Load Rating shows on the kit bar, and the ring counts hostiles you cannot see. |
| Handhold | Allies close to you inherit a quarter of your Load Rating as damage reduction. |
First fork
Anchor Stance projects a frontal plane that shields everything behind you from ahead. It faces where you face, so turning to answer a flank hands the street to the flank.
Anchor Stance keeps its full reduction while you walk, and each hostile in the ring adds a little speed. You are never fully braced, so a heavy read still moves you.
Second fork
Damage your Load Rating absorbs is banked, and Breakwater spends the bank as a frontal burst on arrival.
Breakwater plants a ring in which nothing can be displaced, including you. You cannot leave it either.
Grand fork
Load Rating stops decaying while any hostile is in the ring, and its ceiling rises.
At zero health you spend your whole Load Rating instead of dying: a few seconds of immunity, and everything in the ring is thrown outward. It empties the rating and takes a long time to recharge.
Capstone. The Shift Does Not Move. Allies inside your ring inherit your full Load Rating, not a quarter of it.
You stop being a person in the doorway and start being the doorway.
Birthright
Partly built The Forge screen saves your frame. Most set abilities do not run yet.
The sets Girder can frame from creation, anchors first.
